We were going to go on a motorcycle trip to Moab in May-but almost everyone backed out but my mom and dad and us, so the condo we rented was going to cost us a ton-so we cancelled our trip there. But we have made new plans for that time we took off in May and I think I am really excited!! We are going to Grand Junction, Co. They have tons to see and do around there. But the adventure is that we are not going to be staying in a motel or a condo this time. We are buying sleeping bags and are going to stay in one of those little cabins you see in the KOA camp grounds. They are really cheap and we figure if we can ruff it a little then we will be able to take quite a few trips this year. In June we are renting one near Bryce Canyon and will be going there for a few days. It will be tons of fun, except we have to pack everything on the motorcycle, so that means packing light, but I like adventure and to travel. There is nothing like traveling on a motorcycle and enjoying the sights and you wouldn't believe the smells-I love how you can smell flowers, water, and trees. When you go by a field that is irrigating/watering you can feel the humidity and it gets a little cooler-feels great in the summer and gives you goose bumps in the spring. So watch for my post in May about our trip and see how well we did as pioneers j/k.

Easter
Despite the fact that John had to work and our Easter started at 5:30 am-we had a great Easter!! The boys got up early and saw what the Easter bunny brought them and found their eggs before John left for work. When John left we watched their new movie Bolt, then we took some of our eggs down to grandma and grandpa's for breakfast. We came home and got ready and went back down to their house and helped get dinner ready. We were lucky because John got home about 3:00, which is early for him. We had dinner:ham, potato salad, pasta salad, deviled eggs, rolls, fruit, and coconut cake. Then we had fun watching picture Cd's of the boys when they were younger(and so were the rest of us). All in all a pretty great day!

DyInG EgGS
I always thought it was fun to dye easter eggs-I think my kids do too. I always boil a ton of eggs-so we eat boiled eggs forever but at least we have fun dyeing them. This year we got a fun kit that had a little of everything in it-dye, foil, paint, sparkles, sponges, etc. The boys though it was a blast. Riley still is a little rough with the eggs though, he cracked a few when he was putting them in the dye, but he will probably have the hang of it by next year. Kayd loves to help too and was putting eggs in cups that already had eggs in them-he was a little eager. But I loved it and we had a great time. Dying eggs is so much better than the plastic candy filled ones!! I think even my kids would agree.
