Kayden turns 7!!

I can't believe that Kayden is 7! Seems like yesterday that I had him. I keep asking myself if I am really old enough to have a 7 year old. Maybe we should go backwards this year. JK Kayden is an awesome boy. He is loving and caring. He loves school. He loves to be with mom, dad, and Riley too. He has such a loving nature. He loves to always cuddle under a blanket and spend special time with mom and dad. He loves anything to do with motorcycles, trucks, boats, and farm equipment. He loves to help with anything in the kitchen, from cooking to cleaning. He is truly a blessing and we love him tons!!! Happy Birthday to my big boy, we're so proud of you.(hopefully he feels better for his party. He has the stomach flu)

Monster Truck Winter Nationals

My brother and his wife invited us to go with them to the monster truck show at the E Center. We didn't tell the boys we were going until we were getting ready to go Saturday morning. They were definitely excited. The whole way out to Salt Lake Kayden kept asking if we were going to be there on time cause he didn't want to miss it. Of course we were there an hour before it started. The boys had a ton of fun! They couldn't stop smiling the whole time. They also had some motor cross and tuff trucks to go with the monster trucks. I think the boys were in heaven. Afterwards we went to Costco and the Olive Garden for dinner. We all rode out in my brother's truck so we had a lot of fun visiting too! I think we will definitely go again.

Winter Warriors

Every year John tries to get whoever he can to go on a New Year's day ride. He usually gets my dad and brother to go with him. This year he could only get my brother Cody to go with him because my dad had to go out on a truck for a little while. John and Cody were so bundled up all you could see was their eyes until they put their sunglasses on. They rode clear to town and back. They were gone a good 45 minutes. When they came back they said their hands were so numb they could hardly turn the throttle. I think you can honestly call these 2 die hard bikers. Now that Christmas is over we are all ready for spring to come so we can start riding again. The girls included!

Christmas Day

Every year I keep waiting for my boys to be up and begging at the wee hours of the morning to see what Santa brought them, especially this year because they are getting older. But again I had to wake them up. The boys had a blast playing with their new guitars! Grandma and Grandpa I think enjoyed having us here for Christmas this year and I have admit it was a lot of fun.

Christmas Eve

Christmas eve was just our normal traditions this year. We had snacks and watched Christmas movies on TV. Then Santa came and dropped off a present for the boys. They put out the magic food for the reindeer that Grandma Kathy gave them and their magic key for Santa. Then they put out milk and cookies for Santa and went to bed.
