Busy Busy Busy!

Life seems to be running at full speed lately! Riley had his kindergarten testing Wednesday. A little sad for me-it means my baby boy is growing up. He will be probably one of the youngest in his class. He won't be 5 until June 24. It was a really hard debate if we should send him or not. I think he is smart, mature, and ready. I think it's harder for me than it is for him:). This year they didn't want the parents to go with for the testing, so when he came out I asked him how he did. He said they patted him on the shoulder and said good job you passed. He's such a big boy!
Kayden is almost done with 1st grade. I can't believe he is going to be in 2nd this fall! He is such a good helper and big boy lately. He is doing so good in school this year! Hopefully next year is just as good. I have to give credit to his teacher for this also, because he has had an awesome teacher this year. He has been helping dad in garage a lot lately. They are building shelves and turning it into John's shop.
Saturday John took the day off work and we went to the motorcycle and ATV show in SLC. We were disappointed when we got there, it was really small and didn't have that many dealers or bikes there. Although he did find one he liked a lot. He's starting to want another bike. He wants a touring one, so I'll benefit from it :).
We have been a little sad lately because our dog that we have had for 9 years was staying at my father in laws shop got out accidentally and we have not seen him for 2 weeks. We think he was chasing a rabbit and got out under the fence. We have decided to hold off on getting another dog until this fall. We have a few trips planned for this summer and trying to put a yard in and remodel our house. Puppies are too much work to add to our busy summer schedule.
I have been so excited that spring is here. I can't wait to start making some flower beds and designing our yard in the next couple weeks.

I can't wait to come and see your house and yard! I also am sad to see your boys grow up....teenagers are fun, but they lose some of their "sweetness" too...they get sassy and ornery, more so than little kids. You have the sweetest boys, I just love them!
